How significant is this tug-of-war, and who will win? We'll talk about it on 90.3 at 9.

What worries you the most? The guy merging from the on-ramp while talking on his cell phone? The one passing you on the right at 80 miles per hour? Seems like a lot of drivers prize speed over safety, rudeness over courtesy... and are inexplicably averse to using their turn signals. But maybe that's just my perception. What's yours? $11 more per quarter. That's how much of an increase in water rates northeast Ohioans who use Cleveland water can expect next year. Blame rising costs. Blame decreasing use, if you can believe that. And what's being done to prevent problems in the future? We'll talk about it on 90.3 at 9.

Something unusual happened on the floor of the U.S. Senate about two weeks ago: a Republican senator argued against cutting taxes. Ohio Senator George Voinovich said the Bush tax cuts should not continue, largely because of their impact on the deficit. Allowing the federal budget deficit to soar, he said, will bankrupt the country's future. Was he right? We'll talk about it on 90.3 at 9.
