They've been changing journalism, they're changing how politicians respond to voters, and for many who blog about their daily life, they're changing how we live. Today's 90.3 at 9 focused on what it might take to bring a new aquarium in Cleveland. (The original Cleveland Aquarium closed back in 1985. Since then, many of its exhibits have been on "temporary" display at the zoo.) A group called Cleveland Aquarium Inc. is spearheading efforts to get a new aquarium built here - raising money, gathering equipment and supplies; and working with government officials to determine the best-possible location. Several callers voiced concerns about admission costs. One woman suggested that museums and other regional attractions develop a single admission price (or membership level) that could get people into many different places. Spokeswoman DeAnn Hazey of the Convention and Visitors Bureau said the Bureau is working to develop such a system. She expects it to be in place by March.

Today Canadians will elect a new government. If poll projections are right, it could spell the end of the Liberal Party's domination of Canadian politics. And how might a new government deal with trade issues so vital to the U.S. and Ohio? We'll talk over the ins and outs of this election with a Canadian journalist and a political scientist from Alberta and try to predict a winner on 90.3 at 9.

We want our physicians to be innovative, but we also want them to be disinterested. So how do you fix it? It's a tangled web and with a little help and your calls, we'll unravel it on 90.3 at 9.

Do you earn what you should for the work you do? How about your spouse, coworkers, friends? A new survey conducted by salary.com finds salaries to be pretty fair in the U.S., but just how did researchers gauge that? Is salary just a matter of an employer purchasing particular duties from an employee? Or does salary somehow recognize the intangible attributes one person might bring to a job that another would not? And how on earth do you figure all this out, when talking about what people earn is such a taboo? Join us for conversation on 90.3 at 9.
