The mayor's had her summits, now it's time for City Councilman Zach Reed to tackle poverty in Cleveland. Councilman Reed will hold a grassroots summit Saturday, inviting residents who are impoverished to discuss their concerns. He wants to know the three most important things the city can do to get them out of poverty.

Locally, a program called Adopt Cuyahoga's Kids specializes in placement of children who've reached their mid to late teens without being adopted. The Euclid Corridor Project. We're just about to spend tens of millions of dollars revitalizing Euclid Avenue from Public Square to University Circle. It'll allow specially designed buses to zip along ferrying passengers between two Cleveland focal points. If it works as planned, one of the city's grandest streets will be reborn. If nobody buys into it, the buses will be ferrying people across one of Cleveland's Brownfield wastelands. Not all merchants are happy about it. Their views will be represented on the show.
