Advocates of healthcare reform point out that the United States spends twice as much per person on healthcare than many other developed countries. They say that one of the things that contributes to the high cost of care is the fact that many people, especially the uninsured, don't have access to a primary care physician. MetroHealth Medical Center has recently launched a "Medical Home" program to help address this problem. ideastream®'s Eric Wellman spoke with the Plain Dealer's Sarah Jane Tribble in 90.3's Tuesday Checkup.
