When it comes to cancer, pancreatic cancer is among the most common and among the most deadly. Three quarters of people who get the diagnosis die within a year. Fewer than 5% live five years. In northeast Ohio, there's important research going on at area hospitals to find - if not a cure - ways to extend the life expectancy of people diagnosed. Plain Dealer health reporter Angela Townsend speaks with ideastream®'s Eric Wellman about the research that's going on locally.
