They have names like Amp, Rock Star, Adrenaline -- perhaps the best known is Red Bull. Energy drinks are by far the fastest growing part of the soft drink market. Even companies like Coke and Pepsi have developed brands of their own to try to give some fizz to what have otherwise been flat sales. The growing popularity of these beverages is drawing the attention of doctors, including Susan Joy, director of Womens Sports Health at the Cleveland Clinic.
